Trent Whipple

Trent John Whipple our loving son, father, and brother age 49 passed away on August 11, 2021 due to health issues he had for many years.

Born November 13, 1971 in Murray, UT to John and Linda Whipple.  He was survived by his parents and his daughter Sage, his sister Jenn Woodhouse (Chuck) his brothers Todd (Alicia), Jason, Andrew (Vanessa), Justin, Jeremy (Steph), sister Katherine (deceased), and brother Ryan (Jenny) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Our special first-born son was a blessing to our family.  He was a very important person as all his brothers and sister who looked up to him and loved him.  He was talented as well as loving and kind to all.  He always faced his challenges with a smile. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.   He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

A special friend (Darren) wrote the following poem that shows who he was.

Hard work and strong values he learned at a very young age

His father worked 3 jobs so his family he could raise

Trent shouldered the load of helping be the man of the house

He had eight younger siblings who often needed his help

His smile and his laugh could brighten the darkest of days

He traded his bullet bike for the power of just one horse

He loved being with his horses and working his land

Though life can be tough and test the strongest of men

It does not erase all the good there has been

For me and my memories I know the man that he was

and pray he’s found peace with his sister in the heavens above

Graveside services will be held Monday, August 16 2021 at 11:00 am at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery 3115 E Bengal Blvd Cottonwood Heights, UT.  There will be a viewing held Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Cannon Mortuary 2460 E Bengal Blvd (7600 South) .
