Logan Doucette

February 20, 2004 — January 27, 2021

Logan Ray Doucette was born February 20, 2004 in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Logan was 16 when he went home to Our Lord on January 27, 2021. Logan is survived by his mother and father, Heidi and Greg Doucette, his brother Luc Doucette, Slugger his dog, and extended loving family.

Logan had a very gentle spirit and was a kind, compassionate loving boy. His parents are so proud of the young man he was becoming and the character he had developed. His teachers and friends experienced such joy when they were around him. He had built strong friendships and cherished his relationship with his girlfriend, Tasha. His friends viewed him as smart, funny, outgoing, reliable and with a lot of swag.  Logan was exceptionally smart, loved physics and learning about the world while sharing his knowledge with his mom.  She looked forward to their after school conversations, in particular physics class. It was a foreign language to her, but she loved to watch his excitement and animation. Logan’s dad loved all the long road trips to hockey tournaments where they would talk for hours and share funny stories. He and his dad had a special bond over sharing many meals together. His dad loved to cook and serve him food because Logan was always willing to be his “taster.” Logan was known to his family as the double-fisted-chopstick-sushi-eater and started a family tradition for birthdays at Tsunami’s. He had the heartiest laugh that made you know he was truly happy in the moment. He never had anything bad to say about anyone and he could make a joke about anything. His mom believed he lived up to his middle name. He was a ‘Ray’ of light and was her blessing from God each time he entered any room. The family would like to thank the outpouring of love and support from the community.
