James Thomas Crocker "Tom" was taken suddenly from his family in the early morning hours of July 18, 2021 at his home with his wife and grandson by his side. Tom was born January 26,1948 in Fitzsimmons, Colorado to James L. and Nora Bernice Crocker. Coming from a military family, Tom proudly followed in his father’s footsteps and, after graduating from Denison High School in 1966, he joined the U.S. Navy where he proudly took a bullet for his country in Vietnam. After he left the service and graduated from college, he moved to California where he met the love of his life, Revocata (Rae). They were married on August 29, 1976 and started their family. For a few years, his job moved him around until they finally landed in Utah in 1988, which quickly became home. He worked for Jerry Seiner car dealerships for the better part of 3 decades, and at the time of his death was driving trucks for Staker Parsons Construction Company. When Tom wasn't working, he could be found playing computer games, watching sports or the Food Network, or in the backyard grilling up delicious food for his family. Tom was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which he knew in his heart was true. His quirky personality, charismatic nature, and huge heart made him easy to love which leaves a void in the lives of his many friends and co-workers, but especially his family. He is preceded in death by his parents and his best friend, Joseph (Joey) Galetta. He is survived by his wife Revocata, his sons James “Jamie” (Charlotte) and James “Tony” (Shannon), his daughters Ledwina ”Dee” (Darren) and Catrina (Steve), his grandchildren Christopher (Natalie), Dominique, Makayla, Zachary, Jordan, William, Bryleigh and Bailey, his great grandchildren Dominic and Daxton along with countless friends and family members whose lives will never be the same. Gone but never forgotten!!
