Our wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend Annamarie Bench Bosley passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, November 19, 2021.
Annamarie was born in Duchesne, Utah on February 2, 1953 to loving parents Ray and Evah Bench. She was the second of three children. Her family moved to Kearns, Utah when Annamarie was four years old. Annamarie always had fun memories playing in Duchesne with her siblings and cousins as she grew up. Annamarie graduated from Kearns High School in 1971. She attended the University of Utah and graduated with an accounting degree in 1974.  She met her husband Arno (Buck) Charles Bosley, Jr. due to alphabetical seating in business management class - Bench sat next to Bosley. They were married on July 2, 1975 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Annamarie and Arno have three children - Christopher, Caroline and Mary Jane.  They raised their family in East Millcreek and then Cottonwood Heights. Annamarie loved spending time with her children and supported them in all of their interests, academic and artistic pursuits. She was everyone’s biggest cheerleader.
She loved nothing more than spending time with her family - whether it was for a visit, a family dinner, a vacation, a reunion or any other time that we were all together. She particularly enjoyed vacations with her family in Southern California. Her grandchildren Ryan, Jack and Caitlin were the light of her life and she spent countless hours reading and playing with them.
Annamarie was proud to be an accountant!  She was the first female accountant in Oklahoma City Government. She received her CPA license in 1984 and worked at Foote, Passey & Griffin in downtown Salt Lake as well as maintaining a successful private practice for the rest of her life. Her clients became her friends and she loved interacting with them.
Annamarie was an accomplished pianist and loved sharing her talent with others. She was a long-time organist and pianist for her church congregation. Cooking for her family and friends was one of her favorite things to do. She loved having a full dinner table and cooking her favorite dishes. She had a vibrant community of friends and was a friend to everyone she met.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ray and Evah Bench and her daughter Mary Jane. She is survived by her husband Arno and children Christopher (Rebecca) Bosley of Holladay, UT, Caroline (Matthew) Klein and their children Ryan, Jack, and Caitlin of Kaysville, UT as well as her brother Russell (Ellen) Bench of Centerville, UT, Barbara (Jeff) Dymock of Herriman, UT and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Canyon Creek Ward church building, 7035 South Nutree Drive (7145 S), Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121.  A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 28 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 Bengal Blvd. (7600 S), Cottonwood Heights, Utah 84121 and the day of the service at the church from 10:00-10:45 a.m.
