William Reynolds Collett, beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle, age 94, passed away January 7, 2015.
Born October 1, 1920 in Vernal, Utah, to Orin and Essie Reynolds Collett. Married Donna Fisher on August 28, 1945 in Arroyo Grande, California. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
During WWII Bill served in the Navy on Admiral Spruance’s Staff in the Pacific Theater and was involved in every major battle after Tinian.
Bill was in the beauty industry, owned and operated many salons and taught cosmetology. He lived a life of service to others, taking care of everyone around him.
Survived by daughter, Peggy (Russel) Oslund, eight grandsons, twelve great grandchildren. Proceeded in death by wife Donna and daughter, Billie Jo Fesler.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015, 12:00 p.m. at the Willow Creek 1 st Ward, 2115 East Sublette Place, (8455 S.) A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Interment Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
