Wanda H Orgill

Wanda H Orgill, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, 66 passed away on August 12, 2026 at home with her loving husband, Blake by her side due to lingering medical issues. 

Wanda was born August 16, 1959 in Salt Lake City, UT to Darrell Henry Holt and Norma Lee Thayne in Salt Lake City, UT and married James Blake Orgill on April 2, 1977, in South Jordan, UT. 

Wanda grew up on a farm in South Jordan off of 2700 West. She loved being out working the farm with her family and was even a self-declared Tom Boy. After she graduated Bingham High 1977 she went to Cosmetology School and worked as a beautician most of her life. She enjoyed spending time with family, working in her garden and crafting as often as she was able. 

Wanda is survived by her husband, James Blake Orgill, and her four Children Brandi (Mike) Petruzzi of Magna, James Colby (Amanda) Orgill of West Jordan, Nick (April) Orgill of Brunswick, GA, and Britnie (Chad) Diederich of Lehi. She had 11 Grandkids, and 1 Great Grandkid. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her brother, Dwight Holt, and a Grandson, Garret Newman. She will be greatly missed. 

Funeral Services will be held Monday August 17 at 11AM at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd (7600 South). Visitation will be held at the same location on Sunday August 16 from 6PM- 8PM and the day of the service from 10AM- 11AM. She will be buried at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary 3115 Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121 immediately following the Service.
