Vincent Paul Morgan

November 16, 1954 — August 2, 2023

Vincent Paul Morgan, 68, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away August 2nd, in the comfort of his own home. The oldest of five, Paul was born November 16, 1954, to Dale Morgan Sr. and Barbara Barney in Salt Lake City. After graduating from Judge Memorial Catholic High School in 1973, he went on to play football for Dixie College, graduating in 1975, then obtained his Bachelor of Science in History- American Civilization from Templar University in 1977. Paul loved to travel. His travels took him to the Grand Canyon in the summer of 1975 and while working as a chef at the North Rim Lodge, he met his future wife and love of his life, Mary. They were married in October 1982 and were with each other through all of life’s ups and downs until his passing. Paul and Mary would go on to have two children, Christopher and Victoria. He was a devoted father and husband, who worked tirelessly to ensure his family was well taken care of. He taught us to stand tall, work hard, and know ourselves in all situations and supported us through the many difficulties and accomplishments in our lives. When Paul wasn’t working in the construction industry while remaining an active member of the Carpenter’s Union, he loved to teach others how to build and repair homes and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those who needed it. An avid outdoorsman, Paul sought solace in nature and found peace up many of Utah’s canyons spending time with his wife, children, and many beloved pets. Paul was predeceased by his parents, Dale and Barbara Morgan. He is survived by his wife Mary; son Christopher (Katie), daughter Victoria (Bronson); grandchildren Dempsey, Abby, McKennzie, Connor, Cannon, Cooper; brother Michael (Keri), sisters Theresa (Michael), Desiree, Candice (Tim); and many nieces and nephews. A private service for immediate family members will be held, where his ashes will be laid to rest and forever be at peace among the swaying pines he loved so much.
