Steven Allen Gydesen
July 3, 1960 - February 10, 2013
Steven Allen Gydesen ”Sugar Pop” our beloved son, father, grandfather,
brother and uncle passed away February 10, 2013 in Sandy, UT from complications of diabetes. Steve was born July 3, 1960 in Denver, CO to Larry and Betty Gydesen He was a big brother to three sisters. He married Carolyn Siggard on March 5, 1980 and together they had three beautiful daughters. They were later divorced, but remained friends. He also had two special canine kids Gunner and Snickers that were very special to him- Man’s Best Friends. Steve spent most his life working in the corrugated box industry. He had a big passion for designing displays and creative boxes. He leaves behind his daughters and 3 grandchildren to whom he loved and cared for very much. He served a big purpose in life to all he was around by participating in activities such as camping, four wheeling, and golf. He was a practical joker who would do anything for a smile. His time here on earth was short but the influence he had on everyone will be remembered always. Survived by his parents Larry and Betty Gydesen, Daughters Sharmaine (Talon), Brittany (Ryan), and Savanna, his grandchildren Kaden (5), Braeden (3), and Jaxon (5 mo) his sisters Marti (Dan), Teresa, Wendy (John) nieces and nephews.
At his request in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Diabetic Research Foundation in his name.
A gathering will be held at Cannon Mortuary in Cottonwood Heights on Friday Feb 15, 2013 at 6:00pm with service to follow at 7:00pm. Interment will be at a later date.
