1971-2012
Sean Perkins passed away from a lingering illness on December 2, 2012 amongst loving family members and friends. On March 28, 1971 he first shared his jolly toothless smile with his parents Gary Perkins and Patricia Paul Perkins. From his early youth of sprinting on his toes to his final days alongside his dog, Sean embraced life with an open mind and practiced courage to succeed under trying conditions, yet always mindful to maintain a compassion for others. He enjoyed sports, travel and his Murray home and missed his father deeply after his passing. His sense of humor seldom faltered, and when respect did not always find him, he always found it for others. Although many will undoubtedly mourn the great loss, Sean’s thoughtful and generous acts will be felt in the lives of many for years to come.
He is survived by his mother Pat Perkins, brother Rick, grandfather Lowell Perkins, sister-in-law Carol, nieces Yariel and Sonnet and nephew Dane. Preceded in death by his father Gary, grandmother Jeanette Perkins, grandfather Rex Paul, grandmother Helen Paul.
The family would like to thank the medical staff that pursued every resource to extend Sean’s life.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 10600 So. 1950 East, Sandy at 2:00 p.m.
