Robert J Miller, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend passed away April 7, 2012.

Born November 25, 1925, Salt Lake City, Utah to Carl and Anna Schmidt Miller and married Faye Mills in 1947.

Bob served in the Navy in WWII, was a member of the Elks Club and the Lions Club.  He belonged to the IBEW 354 for over 65 years and was an electrical contractor since 1966.

Bob always put family first, but also enjoyed helping others.  He made a lasting impression on everyone he met.  Bob was a collector of clocks, an avid sports fan, and an active member of the community.  He enjoyed old western films, warm weather and his truck.  If it had a cord, he collected it.

Survived by wife of 65 years, Faye; children, Robert (Anita), Gary (Jean); son-in-law, Alan Muenchow; grandchildren, Cici Cook, Sarah Peterson, Blair, Matt, and Chris Miller; great grandchildren, Sydney, Matthew, Reilly; nieces and nephews, Ted Miller, Frank Miller, Barbara Magdiehl, Susan Hales, many friends and extended family.

Preceded in death by daughter Joan Muenchow and his brothers, Art, Ted and Richard; his sisters, Elsie Grant, Edith Nelson, Annie (Babe) Nelson and Florence Nelson.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 13, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S.)  A visitation will be held at the mortuary, Thursday, April 12, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  Interment Mountain View Memorial Estates.

Everyone who knew Bob, including all of his family and friends will miss him.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to either The American Cancer Society or The American Heart Association.
