Graveside Service Recording
Richard Lee Winegar was born July 6, 1955 in Ellensburg, WA to Donald Lee and Mary Ellen Moulding Winegar. He passed away surrounded by his family, from Glioblastoma (brain cancer) on October 30, 2020. He married Tamra Lynne Bryan in 1977 in Salt Lake City. They are the proud parents of three children and their spouses, and seven perfect grandchildren.
Rick was a painting contractor and started Winegar Painting in 1981. He has always had a great appreciation for his employees and business associates. In December 2008 Rick and Tammy left the Salt Lake Valley and moved to Centerfield, Utah where they have enjoyed living the quiet country life. Rick loved bird hunting with his dogs, fishing, and riding four wheelers, especially with friends and family. For several years he enjoyed racing pigeons in the Great Salt Lake Combine. He had a tremendous love, respect and knowledge of animal life. In 2010 Rick came to know and love his Savior, Jesus Christ and would love for his friends and family to read the Gospel of John in the New Testament.
His passing leaves his survivors with broken hearts; they include his wife Tammy, children; Dustin (Trine) Winegar, Annie (Phil) Young, and Stacy (Jace) Gordon. Missing their grandpa will be Gavin, Katie, Makenna, Ellie, Lizzie, Wilkin, and Wesley. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Blake; siblings, Pam Fackrell, Susan Richmond, Julie Bennett, Steve Winegar, and Jon Winegar. He is preceded in death by his father, and Lynne and Ellis Bryan.
