Rene'e Gordon

Gigi passed away peacefu l ly on July 13, 2011. She was born July 7, 1930 in Salt Lake City to James Edward Rokes and Ruth Irene Rokes. She married Reed W. Gordon and later divorced.

She is survived by her sons; Jeff (Debbie) and Drew (Robanne) , and two daughters-in-law, Kris and Melinda, as we l l as 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandch i ldren.

She was the perfect example of a mother and f r i end. She taught by her actions and by word the importance of loving, support i ng, and helping her family and all who knew her. She loved all spo r ts and n ever missed her boys' games or matches. She served in many positions in the LDS church. She t o u ched the l ives of many young women through her years of service. She worked at KSL.

She is preceded in death by he r p aren t s and two sons; G r eg and Brad, along wi t h one grandchild, Alex .

The family would like to give a special thanks to the sta ff at Haven Hospice for t heir loving care of their mother.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the LDS Chapel on 7075 South 2250 East from 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. Funeral services will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
