Patricia M. Geisler passed away on January 10, 2026. She born December 20, 1935, to Joseph T.F. & Virginia Kimball Geisler, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Pat graduated from West High in 1954. Then graduated with a B.S. Degree in Family Living with a specialty in Child Development and then earned a Master of Social Work at the University of Utah Graduate School.
She worked as a counselor at the Brighton Utah M.I.A. Home, for the summers of 1953, 54, 55, 56. She also worked at the Provo Canyon Utah M.I.A. Home in 1958.
From August 1963 to January 1965, she served in the Southwest Navajo Indian Mission, for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worked for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Indian Student Placement Program in the Ogden and Salt Lake City areas, till the Program was discontinued and was transferred to LDS Social Services.
In 1975 Pat was on the Faculty of University of Utah Graduate School of Social Work teaching classes to graduate students. While she worked for the University of Utah, she served in Sanpete County, Utah and was on the Youth Council Advisory Board and did marriage counseling.
Pat was a great-great granddaughter of Heber C. Kimball and did extensive research for the Kimball family.
She traveled extensively to Europe, Mexico, Israel, and the Middle East. Pat had many hobbies- hiking, family history research, reading, and photography.
Survived by two brothers Heber (Pannawan) Geisler, Larry (Jean) Geisler, one sister, Ruth Snarr and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 South). A visitation will be held the day of the service from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Interment Salt Lake City Cemetery.
