Mildred Minerva Baker Buie

Mildred Minerva Baker Buie age 86, returned home to her Heavenly Father after completing her journey here on earth.  She was born on February 10, 1930 in Roosevelt, Utah to John Phillip and Philena Gibson Baker.  Her mother passed away when she was 5 years old.  She was raised by her sister, Alice and Nile Olsen in Cleveland, Utah.  Married William Thomas Buie, May 13, 1949 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.  Together they had three wonderful children, Randal (Cindy), Lynn (Randy) Nelson and Leanne Buie.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a strong testimony of Jesus Christ.  She served in many church callings including many years in the Record Extraction Program.  She loved to sing and was a devoted member of the church choir.  She loved nature and being outdoors.  She was an avid walker and an inspiration to her Senior Community.  She fell while walking, breaking her arm and  passed away from complications that developed while recovering.

Survived by her two children, seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren that she loved dearly.  Preceded in death by her husband and daughter Leanne.
