1969 Mike Davidson 2023

Mike Davidson

October 6, 1969 — January 8, 2023

Our hearts are broken due to the unexpected passing of Mike Davidson (Mikey) from a pulmonary embolism on Sunday evening January 8, 2023. Mike had a tremendous sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. He was born to Monroe Davidson and Lynne Davidson, on October 6, 1969. He was the baby of the family and grew up to be a handsome lovable big teddy bear. He kept us laughing and amused throughout his childhood, growing up in Murray and graduating from Murray High School class of 1988. In October of 1999, he welcomed the birth of his son, Baily, the light of his life.
He married the love of his life, Sherrie Richardson on July 25, 2013 and was blessed with three step-children, Kaelin, Robbie and Erin whom he loved dearly. They enjoyed their years together often spending time camping with friends and family. Mike also loved to golf especially with his dad Monroe, joining a league together and sharing time on the course. Mike had an impressive drive, he even sometimes hit it straight.
He worked for Amsco Windows for over 28 years and made a lot of friends throughout his life’s journey. Mike took pride in his craftsmanship and recently remodeled his house. We all admired his work. Mike always had a project he was working on and was always willing to help others with their projects. He was close to his siblings, Steve and Barbara. He loved his mother Lynne and got from her his kind, compassionate caring soul. He will be missed by his dog Roscoe, who was by his side to the end protecting his beloved owner.
We will miss Mike’s playful spirit and can’t imagine life without him. We are forever grateful to have him in our lives for the time we did, and we will rely on our many fond memories to provide comfort and in time, a laugh or two.
A viewing will be held January 13, 2023, from 6:00-8:00pm at Cannon Mortuary 2460 Bengal Blvd. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, do one nice thing to help another individual big or small with Mike in mind. Then raise a glass. He would like that.
Survived by his wife Sherrie, son Baily (Puck), parents Monroe (Deb), Lynne (Glen), brother Steve, sister Barbara (Scott) Dillman, step-children Kaelin, Robbie, and Erin Richardson, nephew Nick, and niece Anna Dillman, and step-sister Carrie (Bryce ) Long, step-brother Scott (Cathy) Wilson.
