Marjorie Murry

February 18, 1945 — May 25, 2021

There better be Boston Terriers in heaven…if there isn’t, someone is getting an ear full.

Marjorie Ann Murry was born February 18, 1945 and departed this world May 25, 2021. Marge married the love of her life Michael Glen Murry on August 2, 1966.  You would describe their relationship with one word -  Joy.  She was his everything and he was hers.  Marge always wanted a daughter and ended up with 5 football playing, toad catching sons.

Marge modeled motherhood to perfection, equipped with the tenacity and endless love to raise 5 exceptional baby boys to manhood.  Her whole life was dedicated to her family’s happiness…driving 5 boys to and from sports(sometimes forgetting to pick them up), staying up late typing our papers that were due the next day(and writing them lots of the time), making Hamburger Helper, porcupine meatballs and Goulash for dinner.

Marge loved her kids more than life…until she found Boston Terriers.  She loved all dogs(except Pepper), Barry Manilow, Neil Diamond, QVC, Nordstrom’s, ZCMI, Virginia Slims Menthol, Midnight phone calls to Donna, having the TV blaring 24 hours a day, doting over her grandkids(15) and finding that special Christmas gift for everyone.

Marge was proceeded in death by her parents Donald and Zella Wharton,  her husband Michael, Son Ryan(Stacey) and Grandson Anthony Powell Murry.  She is survived by her Sisters Donna and Pat, Sons Michael(Carrie), Scott, Bradley(Gabriela) and Jeffrey(Christa) and 14 other grandkids.

If you soon find yourself in the land of the departed…just walk up to heaven’s gate and tell ‘em Large Marge sent ya…even if she doesn’t know who you are, she will pretend she does and vouch for you…that’s the kind of person she is.
