eloved mother and grandmother, Marilyn ElizabethDrose, passed away on January 2, 2011.
Born May 16, 1934 to Arthur and Elizabeth Brooks.
Marilyn graduated from Alton Senior HighSchool in Alton, Illinois.
She worked inthe offices of Olin Matheson Chemical Corp., Kroger Company and NorthwestPipeline Corporation (The Williams Co.).
She married John Drose, later divorced.
She is survived by 3 children, Marce (Wally) Miles, Mike (Nelly)Drose and Richard Drose, 4 grandchildren- Paige and Alex Miles, Michael Jay andKristen Drose.
Marilyn also has 2sisters, Bonnidel Schmidt and Clara Reinhardt.
Preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Brooks.
During her lifetime she enjoyed traveling, especiallycruises.
She also loved playing bridge, golf,tennis and reading.
Friends are invited to the home of Marce and Wally Miles onFriday, January 7, 2011, 6-9 p.m. at 951 E. Bernay Circle (8125 S.) tocelebrate her life.
