Margaret Rawlins

October 27, 1924 — April 5, 2019

Margaret Alice Bowersox Rawlins, passed away, April 5, 2019.  Born in a log house, Squirrel, Idaho to loving parents, Maynard P. and Dixie Sharp Bowersox on October 27, 1924.

Educated at local schools, attended Idaho State University.  Margaret trained at Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City, becoming an ASCP Registered Medical Technologist.  She was employed at Salt Lake County Hospital, St. Luke’s Hospital, Boise, Idaho, VA Hospital, Boise, Idaho, Niagara Frontier Clinical Laboratory, Buffalo, New York, The Salt Lake Clinic, and Primary Children’s Medical Center, Salt Lake City.  This career gave Margaret huge satisfaction.

Married Hugh A. Wilson, divorced.  Mother of two sons, Andrew L. Wilson and Thomas P. Wilson.

Married Warren Y. Rawlins, the best marriage ever.

Served as worthy Matron Ada Chapter 8 CES, Boise, Idaho.  Enjoyed a fun game of tennis, bridge; extensive travels with Warren within and outside our beautiful country.

Survived by sons, Andy (Karen) Wilson, Tom (Teresa) Wilson; stepson, William (Joan) Rawlins, stepdaughter Colleen (LaDawn) Rawlins; grandchildren, Amy (Danny) Welch, Jeremy (Tatiana) Wilson, Zane Wilson; step-grandson, Joshua (Michelle) Rawlins. Numerous nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death by parents, husband, Warren and brother, Bill.

Memorial service will be Saturday, April 27, 2019, from 2-4 p.m. at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd., (7600 South), Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
