Lois Irene Park Nichols, our loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on May 8 th 2014, causes related to cancer.

Born January 21, 1938, Murray, Utah to John R. and Margaret E. Larsen Park.  Married Joseph Nichols.

Surviving family members, husband, Joseph Nichols; daughters, Vicki Lynn Hocking (Martin), Catherine Sheridan (Matt), Cheryl Stahle (Cory); son, John David Brown; step-children, Connie Peterson (Tim Johnston), Joe Nichols (Donna), Marge Millet; sisters, Connie Curtis, Colleen Bohn, Joan Raby; brothers, Val Ron Park and Doug Park (Penney).  Lois was blessed with 22 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by first husband David Leon Brown, grandchildren, Michael C. Stahle, David Brendan, Stahle and Kory Peterson; brothers, Kent, Gary, Richard Park and loving parents.

Our mother was a very compassionate, loving person.  She loved being a visiting teacher and always put the needs of family and friends before her own.  She loved fishing and camping with her grandchildren and family.  The North Fork of the Duchesne River had a very special place in her heart.  Her love of a beautiful yard was enjoyed by all.  She was the best neighbor and served them lovingly.

She will be dearly missed by all.  She will now be our guardian angel.  Love you Mom.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 12, 2014, 12:00 p.m. at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S.)  where a visitation will be held prior to service from 11:00 – 11:45 a.m.  Interment Elysian Burial Gardens.
