Linda Christensen Heady

Linda Christensen Heady of Cottonwood Heights, Utah passed beyond the veil on February 1, 2026 at age 78. Linda was born May 25, 1947 to Dallis Albert Christensen and Phylis Peace Peterson in Provo, Utah.

Linda graduated from BYU Academy in 1965. She attended BYU and graduated in 1968 with an Associates degree in Nursing. She later completed her nursing education at the University of Phoenix and received a BS in Nursing. Linda spent most of her career working at LDS hospital.

On June 14, 1969 Linda married Wayne Heady in Provo Utah. They were then sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on May 8 1987.

Linda did not have any children but she loved kids. Her favorite church calling was Nursery Leader. She also treated her nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews as her Grand Children. I believe Disneyland was her favorite place on earth. After retiring from the hospital she enjoyed road trips and taking cruises with her husband.

Linda was predeceased by her parents and two brothers-in-law. She is survived by her husband, sisters Diane Babcock and Janet Weight, nephewn Sean Babcock, nieces Darcy Babcock and Cassity Banks. She is also survived by grand nieces Ella Banks,Clara Banks and grand nephews Nolan Banks and Leo Banks.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, February 4th from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at the Ward building and again on Thursday February 5th from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the Ward. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. The ward address is 6301 South 2300 East Holladay, Utah.

After the funeral service, the burial will take place at the Provo City Cemetery. The cemetery address is 610 South State Street Provo, Utah.
