Liliana Rocio-Lorena Reza

July 25, 2023 — December 15, 2023

Liliana, angel Lily, passed away peacefully in the arms of her parents, Karen and Christian Reza, on December 15, 2023. She was, is, and forever will be a beautiful soul who brought joy and love to her family.
Even if only for a short while, Lily touched our lives deeply. Her smile, her coos, her first and only word "Mama", and her love of eating her hands and toes will forever be etched on our hearts.

Every morning, Lily woke up in Mom's loving arms and watched cartoons. Every night, she'd rest on Dad's chest until gently rocked to sleep. And, anytime in between, would get kisses from her puppy brother, Nugget.

Lily spent her days completely attached to either Mom or Dad. Working, cooking, cleaning, napping, hiking, going to the farmers market, watching movies, or playing with Nugget, Lily was cradled in their arms. But, above all else, Lily's favorite place to be was in a warm bath or in Mom's warm embrace.

Prior to birth, Lily was diagnosed with a complex heart condition and heterotaxy. Because of this, Lily would have to undergo many surgeries and medical care. After the second surgery (Glenn Procedure) was unsuccessful, Lily's condition became critical. She fought hard for several days, but in the end, was called back to her heavenly home.

Lily's life was a miracle. Being born was a miracle. Being able to go home with Mom and Dad was a miracle. Spending four and a half months on this Earth was a miracle. We are grateful for the time we had with Lily, the things we learned from her, and the sweet memory she left us.

She will never be forgotten.

Lily is remembered by her two parents (Karen and Christian), grandparents (Rocio and Nelton, Lorena and Daryl, Gilbert and Doreen), aunts and uncles (Leslie and Frankie, Natalie and Jesse), cousins (Stockton, Cardon, Niko, Wrigley, and Seba), and countless other family members and friends.

Funeral will be Saturday, December 23 at 10:00 AM for the viewing and 11:00 AM for the service. Location will be The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1250 Atherton Dr. Taylorsville UT. Services are being arranged by Cannon Mortuary.

For our Lily.
