My beloved husband and our beloved Dad, Grandpa, Great Grandpa, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Father In-Law and Friend passed-away and is smiling down on us with the angels. He graduated from West High School, was in the army reserves and one of the best construction contractors in the Salt Lake City Valley for 42 years. With his notorious strength, courage and grace, he overcame multiple health issues but finally succumbed to a heart attack. He is survived by the “light of his life” his loving wife, best friend, and rock Barbara (Charlie) Manchego, daughter Debbie (Indian) and husband Tom, Son Larry (Pelon), Grandsons Randy (Emily) and Jered (Chantle), Granddaughter Shela (Fea), 12 great grandchildren, his sisters Bernice, Ruby, and Rosie, “Bro” Dave (Karolyn), cousin Gaylen (Shauna) Martinez and many nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his parents Joe and Delpha Martinez, brother Albert, and nephew Mark and Lucky (Loco). He will be dearly missed by us all. Rest in peace!
