1957 – 2014

Kent Robert Hatch beloved husband, father, grandfather age 57, passed away on November 17, 2014 peacefully at his home in Heber City, surrounded by family after a valiant fight with pancreatic cancer. Born March 21, 1957 in Murray, UT to Kenneth James and Doris Hatch.  Married his sweetheart Susan Ingleby on August 22, 1978 in the Salt Lake Temple. They enjoyed 36 beautiful years together.
He served in the LDS church and held many callings. He served a 2 year mission to Fukuoka Japan from 1976-1978 and served as an ordinance worker with his wife in the Draper LDS Temple for 3 years. A true “Utah Man”, Kent was an avid football fan. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed golf, fishing and hiking with his family. His greatest joy came from traveling and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife; four sons; Justin (Angela), Ryan (Rebecca), Andrew (Ashlee) and Tanner (Ashley); one daughter Melissa (Joshua) Sessions; eight and a half grandchildren, Brooklyn, Kaden, Makynlee, Connor, Hadley, Avery, Eli, Carter and Baby Girl Sessions; father, Kenneth James Hatch; brother, Ron (Kristen) Hatch; sisters, Linda (Scott) Gunnell and Gayle (Jerry) Jacobs.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 24, 2014 at 12:00 noon at the  Sandy Utah East Stake Center, 9639 S. 1700 E. Sandy, UT 84092.  Friends may call at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600), Sunday, November 23, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 and from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. at the place of service. Interment Wasatch Lawn.
