Kayson Tanner Shelton

Kayson Tanner Shelton was born on October 14 th , 2011 in American Fork, Utah to Scott and Toni Shelton and died June 6 th , 2014 in San Francisco, California while on family vacation. Although only slightly older than 2 years old, Kayson had more figured out in his 2 short years of life than most ever will; packing every moment of every day with joy and sharing it along the way…blanket in hand. Our little man was the epitome of love, a perfect little angel on this Earth.

Smiling all the time, Kayson had a grin that was contagious, mischievous, and cuddly all at the same time. He learned quickly to do things with his whole heart, to always give sweet, sticky hugs and kisses, to say “I love you,” at every chance, to laugh, and to believe in himself and others. Kayson was often heard saying “I can do it,” and in his unique, loveable way Kayson’s memory reminds us that “we can do it,” too.

Kayson Tanner Shelton will be sorely missed, but his is a light that can never be dimmed. We join with Kayson in singing “For the temple is a holy place, where we are sealed together. As a child of God, I’ve learned this truth: A family is forever.”

Kayson is survived by his parents Scott and Toni, his older sister, Cambria, his older brother, Tanden, and his younger sister, Shandee.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 13 th , 2014 at the LDS Chapel located at 14919 South Eagle Crest Drive in Draper, Utah 84020-5722. The viewing will be from 9:30-10:45 am and the services will start at 11 am.  Interment Alpine Cemetery.
