Justine K. Jensen Covington

(1956 - 2014)

Justi "Nana J" Jensen passed away in her home on Thursday, November 13th, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Justi was born in Afton, Wyoming and spent the first four years of her life in the tri-city area of Washington State with her parents, Reynold Kennington and Enna Bee Hemmert. Shortly after her 4th birthday, her father was killed in a helicopter accidQent, so her mother moved the family back to Star Valley. A couple years later her mother married Willis Sanderson, moved to Etna, Wyoming and they became a loving family of seven. Justi graduated from Star Valley High school and attended Ricks College where she received her Associates Degree. Her interests were in the medical field where she gained high respect from the doctors and nurses she worked with. In 1978 she married Kevin Robert Jensen and had two wonderful children, but later divorced. Justi spent her later years caring for people in need and providing home health services. She loved living nearby her family and treasured spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Justi is survived by her children: Kati and R.K. Jensen; her brothers and sisters: Steve , Randy, Dean, Roselle and Trudy Sanderson, and Cal Kennington; her grandchildren: Natayah, Haize, Roan, and Annistyn; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visiting service will be held Thursday, November 20th from 11:00AM to 12:00PM, followed by a Memorial service, at Cannon Mortuary  (2460 Bengal Bend Cove, Salt Lake City UT 84121). An additional service will be held Friday, November 21st from 1:00PM to 2:00PM, at Schwab Mortuary in Afton, Wyoming, followed by a grave-side service at Afton Cemetery.
