Joyce Lacy-Gould

Joyce Lacy-Gould, 82, sadly passed away April 10, 2023 in Sandy, Utah

Joyce was born in Austin Minnesota on May 22, 1940 to Sverre and Inga (Hollevoet) Johnson. She grew up in Austin Minnesota and attended Austin High School. Later in life Married Dennis W. Lacy in September 1960 in New Hampton Iowa. They were  blessed with four children together. Robin Lacy, Kelly Lacy Rees, Kriss Lacy - Lowe and Dennis Lacy Jr. Later divorced and married her love David Clark Gould in Salt Lake City, UT. 

She began her lengthy career with Sears by first being a model for their Grand Opening in 1972. She was a makeup consultant then became one of the top Interior Decorators which she very much enjoyed.

She has 7 beautiful Grandchildren that she loved dearly. Candice Joy Lowe Sprecher (Bobby), Leslie Ann Rees, Michelle Joyce Lacy Parker, Colton Daniel Lowe, Austin Morgan Rees (Jade), Savannah Michelle Miller, and Nelson Christopher Pinder.

Joyce was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She has 6 great grandchildren that she absolutely adored. She was deeply loved by her family and all who knew her. She had a beautiful stunning flair for fashion, a great love for yard work,  She loved doing outdoor activities with her children like building a sandbox, flying kites and picnics in the canyon. She loved fishing with her Dad at the beautiful lakes in Minnesota. She had a great sense of humor, her strength was unmeasurable. She was a very special and unique person. She loved to travel with her husband Dave, children and grandchildren and of course she loved her Minnesota Vikings, SKOL! She will be greatly missed by all who loved her and knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David Clark and her sisters Marlis White and Deanna Hartson.

Joyce is survived by her children, her grandchildren, her great grandchildren, her siblings: Dale (Theresa) Johnson, Shirley (Don) Comeau, Sandy Johnson, Steven Johnson; many nieces and nephews.
