Jon was born to Willis and Shirley Orgill in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 22, 1955. He died June 27, 2011.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Family was his everything.

While his children were growing up, he enjoyed taking them camping and horseback riding. He made their make-believe games come to life with his childlike imagination. Jon was also a talented guitar player and songwriter. These gifts he shared with his children, continuing on with his grandchildren.

Jon, my sweetheart, you have taught me the true meaning of love, and nothing else matters. Your innate understanding of children was unparalleled and you made every Christmas magical. I was blessed by your spirituality and know we will be together again.

Survived by wife Debbie; children, Nicolette (Rhiley) Grant, Angela Anderson and Kyle Orgill; grandchildren, Sydnee, Madee, Thomas, Chloe, Shannon and Maddox; numerous brothers and sisters and their families. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Matt and Joel, and mother-in-law Doreen. A private burial has taken place, and a family memorial will be held.
