Jeffrey Carroll Stoddard, beloved father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, at the age of 63. He was born on June 9, 1962, to Carroll and Glenna Stoddard, who provided him with a loving and grounded upbringing that helped shape the man he became.
Jeff devoted his life to hard work, loyalty, and family. He spent his entire career in the trucking industry, beginning as a professional truck driver and later becoming a division manager for the same company he started with. His dedication, dependability, and strong work ethic earned him deep respect from coworkers and industry peers alike.
Jeff took great pride in his truck, keeping it in immaculate condition. His rig was known by many as the nicest truck in the valley—something he maintained with care, precision, and personal pride.
Jeff was a man of Christian faith, which guided him throughout his life. His quiet strength, humility, and kindness touched the lives of many.
He is survived by his father, Carroll Stoddard; his mother, Glenna Stoddard; and his siblings Amy Newman (Dan Brown), Eric Stoddard, Jill Johnson, and Joni Stoddard. Jeff is also survived by his three children: Jasmine Stoddard (27), whom he shared with Janet; and Jas (Jeffrey Ammon Stoddard) (10) and Eli Stoddard (7), whom he shared with Lacey. He was a devoted father who loved his children deeply. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who adored him and knew him as a loving and supportive uncle.
Jeff enjoyed spending time outdoors and had a deep appreciation for history and the natural world. His hobbies included hunting for old relics and artifacts, camping, fishing, and shooting guns. These activities brought him peace, joy, and a sense of connection to the past and to nature.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
