Our precious angel son, Jaren Jeffrey Thomson, returned to the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on October 1, 2025. Jaren passed quietly and peacefully in his sleep.
Jaren was born on July 27, 1987, a welcome addition to our family. It soon became apparent that he would face many difficult challenges in life. And face them he did, with grace and courage.
Jaren is survived by his loving parents, Jeff and Michelle Thomson; his sister Chelsea (Mitchell); his nieces and nephews Kelly, Kayden, Mya, and Kiara; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins who brought him great joy. He is preceded in death by his sister and best friend, Kristen Thomson.
Jaren is now free from his earthly limitations. His life was a profound blessing to his family. Despite the many physical challenges and pain he endured, Jaren met every hardship with an ever-present smile and unwavering determination.
Words cannot fully express the eternal love, admiration, and immense joy that our precious Jaren brought to our lives. We are honored and humbled to be his parents. We deeply appreciate the outpouring of condolences and prayers from all who loved him.
We are forever grateful to Jaren’s devoted caregivers, teachers, doctors, and nurses. Your unwavering compassion and dedication to our son will never be forgotten.
