Heidi Lee Wynn, age 47, passed on Monday, December 17th, 2018 at home. Daughter, Sister, Mother, Wife, Grandmother, and Friend to countless many, she was born December 18th, 1970 in Murray, UT to Patrick Swanagan and Jeanne (Bastian) Roberts, the second of four children.
Born and raised in Murray Utah, she graduated a Spartan from Murray High School in 1989. Heidi taught beside her family at the day care owned by her Grandmother Vivian for many years; The Murray Day School was the first place she was able to provide her enthusiasm, love, and kindness to others of all ages.
Heidi will always be remembered for her strong personality, passion for family, and her signature and contagious laugh that would fill a room. She loved fiercely and would always do everything in her power to pick her loved ones up when they needed help. A longtime volunteer and Program Manager with People Helping People, this work allowed her to do what she was best at, assisting those most in need.
She could have fun where ever she went doing any activity. Heidi had a personality filled with boundless energy and unwavering optimism. Having a deep appreciation for architecture, she would always find a way to visit architectural landmarks in any new city. With an incredibly creative mind and artistic skills, heart and beauty were exemplified in every single one of her hand-made creations. Together with her sisters and kids their Halloween costume designs were nothing short of ridiculously meticulous and astoundingly professional. Almost everyone has seen or received her favorite medium: Her beautifully unique paper flowers. She loved nothing more than to find any occasion or reason to make them for her friends and family.
Becoming a Grandmother for the first time about two years ago, Heidi found herself in a role that suited her perfectly. Her little “Stinky Girl Vivian” went on lots of adventures together. They traveled to California and Arizona as well as countless “Grandma Day’s” in the 2 years they had together. Vivian was so lucky to know her Grandma Heidi and their memories together will be cherished dearly by both of them.
Heidi is survived by her Husband: Russ Wynn of 21 years; Children: Caity Swanagan (Austin Allred), Lauren Wynn (Jeremy Smith), Grant Wynn, Neva Wynn; Grandchild: Vivian Lee; Parents: Patrick E. Swanagan (Carolyn S.), Jeanne Roberts (Dr. Joe R.); Siblings: Dani Schwartz (Jeff S.), Rosie Swanagan, Brody Swanagan, Paige Brown (Josh B.), Dustin Scharman, Rusty Scharman (Tana S.).
