Gary Enoch Andersen
1935 – 2018

Gary Enoch Andersen beloved husband, father and grandfather age 83, passed away peacefully while holding his sweethearts hand on July 7, 2018. Gary was born May 26, 1935 to Enoch and Thelma Jensen Andersen. On May 27th 1963, he was sealed to his eternal companion Doris Kristensen in the Salt Lake Temple. They were later blessed with two beautiful children. Gary graduated from West High School and was a member of the Air National Guard and Army Reserve for 17 years. He was proud to serve with Salt Lake City Fire Department for thirty years (1963-1993). Gary had a smile for everyone and could make friends and start conversations easily. He genuinely cared about others. He used these talents as a young missionary when he served an LDS mission in Denmark and later when he served as a full-time missionary in Denmark and Salt Lake City with his wife Doris. Gary enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, photography, genealogy and writing, but most of all, he loved his family and good food.
