Fred Guy Beckman Jr
(1919-2012)
Born October 28, 1919 in Sheridan, WY, to Frederick Guy and Isabelle Riddoch Beckman. Fred graduated from the University of CA at Santa Barbara.
Married Midge Nelsen July 23, 1960, later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving positions as Bishop and Temple worker. In 1997 he and his wife, Midge served a mission in Toronto Canada.
He is survived by his wife, children, Connie Kim (Emmet) Jacobs and Fred Guy Beckman, III; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Marie, parents, brothers and sister.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at the Fairoaks Ward, 586 East 8600 South. A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the Fairoaks Ward, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and the day of the service from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Interment Mountain View Memorial Estates.
