Our beloved Elise Marie Shirley passed away December 19, 2023, age 38, quietly at home in her sleep. She is greatly missed already. Our Thanksgiving baby, was born November 27, 1985 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Steven Dee Shirley and Linda Marie Floisand Shirley. 

She loved people and was very caring to all. She loved her Friends and family; and enjoyed her Grandparents, Parents, Brothers, Sister, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews dearly. She stopped everything to be with them.

She enjoyed writing, drawing(famous pickleman), and painting pictures and boxes for friends and family. She loved to read books, books and more books.  There may be some that need to be returned to the library. She loved music so much!  She loved nature and saved the moment with beautiful pictures she shared.  She appreciated everything she was given and her bedroom is overfull.  She knew how to be silly and give quick wit responses to make us laugh and lighten the air. She liked learning new things and kept us up in technology.  Thats why she is already greatly missed.  

Oh how wonderful it must have been for her to meet family that has gone before her and our wonderful Savior.  She has peace from worldly sorrows but will be cheering all of us on. 

Survived by parents, Steven and Linda Shirley, brothers Jeffrey(Shali Pratt)Shirley, Todd Shirley, Sister: Michelle Shirley, Nephews: Peter Von Pratt Shirley, and August Matthew Shirley, Neices: Tiana Elizabeth Shirley, and Vashti Charlotte Shirley, Grandmother Orlaug Berith Folkedal Floisand, many wonderful Aunts and Uncles and families.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 11:00 am at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd(7600 S). Visitation will be Saturday 9:30 am to 10:45am.

Interment at West Jordan Cemetery (1300 W. 7800 S.) Western Jordan Utah.
