April 26, 1942 – January 18, 2013

Edmund Owen Barlow, our beloved Husband, Dad, Brother and Grandpa returned to our Father in Heaven on January 18, 2013. Surrounded by his family, his passing was a sweet relief from the cancer that invaded his body.

Ed was born on April 26, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Albert and Maurine Barlow. He grew up with 33 siblings. He joined the navy in April 25, 1960 where he began his lifelong career of an electrician. His greatest loves were the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his family. His dreams of having many children and a large posterity were fulfilled and he often expressed his gratitude to the Lord for giving him that blessing. He took great enjoyment in talking about and teaching the gospel. His utmost desire was to serve the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 grandchildren. He is survived by his wives: Penny, Ann and Elizabeth. Also his 32 children: Albert (Lisa), Tiffany (Drew) Schmelter, Travis (Jennifer), Natalie (Gabriel) Owen, Edmund (Melinda), Heather (Carl) Cooke, Jeremiah (Diana), Maurine (Larry) Teeples, Diana (Nolan) Kelsch, Jesse (Jamie), Maria (Edmond) Gustafson, Zachariah, David, Danielle (Cameron) Fox, Desirae (Luke) Barlow, James, Lydia, Mary, Paul (Chelsea), Michael, Amee (Lance) Jackson, Bonnie, Benjamin, Sarah, Joshua, Robert, Christon, Alyssa, Brianna, Isaac, Wyatt and Daniel, as well as his 41 grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2013, 12:00 p.m. at the LDS Chapel, 12830 south 4570 w. Riverton, Utah. 84065. A viewing will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. and the day of the service, Wednesday, January 23, 2013, 10:00 to 11:45 a.m. at the same location. Interment will be at The Herriman City Cemetery.
