Diana Marie Shields, 52, died quietly in her sleep at home on January 21, 2019. Though struggling with health problems, her passing was unexpected. She was born March 2, 1966 in Salt Lake City. Her parents were Wanda Matlock and step-father Kenneth Neal Allgood. She married Michael Bradley Shields on July 22, 1995 in Rose Canyon, Herriman, Utah, and had twenty-four happy years. She loved being a wife, mother and grandmother. She always had a book at hand and a smile on her face. She loved living in Cottonwood Heights south of Salt Lake City. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she was a student of the Book of Mormon, while at the same time enjoying a cigarette and a shot of vodka, and we loved her dearly. She is survived by her husband, one son Jeremiah Neal Hager, two daughters, Natalie Marie Jackson (Ben), and Jennifer Lynn Rhoades, five grandchildren, Donovan Gregory Seiber, Britney Oneta Seiber, Phillip Joseph Seiber, Ashley Elizabeth Hawkins, Luke Michael Smith, ‘Mom’ Marcia Allgood, siblings, Robert Allgood (Nancy), Angela Anderson (Kim), Richard Allgood (passed away), Marie Espinosa (Scott), and Vicki Olson. Friends are invited to join the family in a memorial service Friday, February 1 at 7:00 pm, Butler 12th Ward, 2697 East Fort Union Blvd, Cottonwood Heights, Utah
