Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Dan A. Jacobson, passed away March 24, 2013, IMC Hospital of natural causes.
Born August 28, 1919, Alta, Utah to Tony and Eva Kay Jacobson. Served in the United States Army, Pacific Theather, during WWII. Married Florence Johnson on December 17, 1945, in Salt Lake.
Dan was a hard rock miner in Alta, Utah for 50 years and a welder at EIMCO. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors and loved to work in his garden.
Survived by his wife, children, Joan Christensen, Alan (Nancy), June (Bart) VanAllen, Janet (Dewayne) Balls and Tony, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 29, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at the Brighton 1

Ward, 2925 E. Bengal Blvd. (7800 S.) A visitation will be held Thursday, March 28, 2013, at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and the day of the service at the church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Interment Mountain View Memorial Estates.
