Our beloved sister, aunt, and friend passed away on January 2, 2024.
Kathy was born November 27, 1954 to Douglas Gordon and Cherie Dawn Guiver. Kathy was a faithful and active member of the LDS church. She served in several callings such as the young adult representative and she also loved serving with the activity day girls. She worked for Zions Bank along with her brother Brian and sister Cindy for 25 years, reconciling accounts. She later worked at Deseret Industries where she participated in several technical classes. She sold Avon for several years and achieved the Star Presidents Award. She had a very close relationship with her older brother Brian, who helped take care of her until his passing in 2003. She was a wonderful big sister to her younger sisters Cindy and Patti, and a loving Aunt to her 3 nieces, 3 nephews and 19 great nieces and nephews. She loved to have her great nephews over to her condo to go swimming. She had a big heart and would do anything for anyone. She made the best homemade rolls and caramels and you could always find her baking other treats in the kitchen to give to others.
Survived by her sisters Cindy Adams and Patti (Ed) Engel; nieces Jackie, Jenna, Janae; nephews Joshua, Jesse, Jacob; 19 great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father, Douglas Gordon Guiver; mother, Cherie Dawn Guiver; brother, Brian Douglas Guiver; and grandparents, Gordon and LaPreal Guiver, Doyle and Doris Williams.
