Chell Wilson Coffin Thomson, 82, our loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 25, 2018.

Chell was born August 13, 1935 to William and Ada Coffin in Downey, Idaho.

She was a member of the LDS Church and enjoyed serving members in her community.

Chell worked in the accounting field for many years. She loved traveling, playing April Fool’s Day pranks, spending time with family and friends, playing games, and having her children together. She is deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Chell is survived by her husband, Melvin, children; Denise Thomson, Michael (Angee) Thomson, Julie Nethercott (Bill), eight grandchildren two step grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Marianne Paul, and son Scott.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 5, 2018 at 11:00am at the Willow Creek 2nd Ward Chapel, 2400 Alta Canyon Drive, Sandy, Utah. A viewing will be held at the Chapel prior to the funeral services from 9:30-10:30am.
