Chanh Mau Truong

Chanh Mau Truong, our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, at age 86, passed away on May 11, 2025 at the Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

A Chinese descent born July 1, 1938 in Saigon, Vietnam to An Thanh Truong and Dinh Tran.

Married Ton Tan on January 30, 1959 in Saigon, Vietnam.

A devoted teacher in a local Chinese Hua Guang school in Salt Lake City from 1983 to 2013

Also served in the Utah Indochina Chinese Benevolence Society from 1986 to 2025, received the Retirement/Lifetime Recognition Award from the Chinese Benevolence Society in March, 2025.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, Viewing starts at 10:00 AM. Funeral Service from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM at Cannon Mortuary 2460 East Bengal Blvd. Salt Lake City, Utah 84121, Interment starts at 1:00 PM at the Salt Lake City Cemetery 200 N Street E, Salt Lake City, UT 84103
