Carroll David Stoddard

Carroll David Stoddard, 92, passed away peacefully at home at 8:00 a.m. on October 11, 2026. Born on December 28, 1933, in the mining town of Consumers, Utah, Carroll was the eldest of seven children born to Ren and Cover Stoddard.

Raised with a strong work ethic, Carroll began working as a coal miner at a young age before answering the call to serve his country. He was drafted into the United States Army on November 9, 1955, serving honorably until September 25, 1957. Following his military service, Carroll dedicated most of his career to driving for CTC Trucking, spending decades on the road until his well-earned retirement.

On September 24, 1960, Carroll married the love of his life, Glenna Nielsen. Together, they built a life centered around family, hard work, and cherished memories. An avid outdoorsman, Carroll found his greatest joy hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with those he loved.

Carroll is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Glenna; his children: daughter Amy (Dan) Brown, son Eric Stoddard, daughter Jill, and daughter Joni (Ralph) Anderson; along with an incredible legacy of 23 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
