Calvin E. Workman, beloved husband, devoted and loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, age 92, passed away peacefully on December 05, 2020.

Born in Park City, Utah on December 28, 1927 to Clifford Workman and Mabel Ann Van Wagoner Workman. Married Kathryn "Diane" Dorrity August 16, 1950 in the Manti Utah LDS Temple. Survived by wife Diane, daughter Wendy Hanks (Rob), son Roger Workman (Josephine), son (deceased) Matthew Workman (Raynalyn), son Scott Workman (Debbie), daughter Cindy Gundersen and 18 grandchildren and 43 great grandchildren.

Calvin grew up in Park City, Utah, where he learned to ski on barrel slats at the age of four so that he could visit his father and grandfather who worked in the Silver King Mine. He graduated from the University of Utah with a Business degree which served him well as a Manufacturer’s Representative of women's clothing. He loved being a "traveling" salesman for over 50 years. Together with his sweetheart and family they spent winters on the slopes snow skiing, summers at the lake boating/water skiing and riding horses and at the beloved family ranch.  Calvin had a passion for travel and with Diane they traveled the world with their children and friends which left them priceless memories. Calvin loved to provide service any way he could. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in all the auxiliaries multiple times with all his heart. He has left us with a legacy of love, respect, honesty, work ethic and trust.

Our family is eternally grateful to the home health care and hospice workers at Wentworth Coventry for providing and loving our parents.

A visitation will be held Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S.) from 6-8 p.m.  Private family services will be held Saturday December 12, 2020, followed by interment in the Midway Cemetery. Midway, Utah.
