Calla “Annette” Clos passed peacefully at the age of 84 on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at the IMC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her final days and hours were spent surrounded by those she loved, and who loved her back.
Born on August 19, 1941, in Wellington (Price), Utah, Annette grew up knowing the love and chaos of a large family, surrounded by her parents Orrin Levi (deceased) and Calla Winnona (deceased) and numerous brothers and sisters Flora (deceased), Marilyn (deceased), Keith (deceased), and Mason(deceased).
Moving to Salt Lake, Annette applied her talents and sharp intellect with numbers by becoming a trusted bookkeeper for various businesses throughout the Salt Lake valley.
Annette had many creative outlets, chief among them was the art of jewelry making. Her handcrafted masterpieces adorn the ears and necks of many of her friends and family and serve as a lasting reminder of her talent and generosity. Another outlet was her study of, and work with, spiritual and metaphysical practicesthat sought to bring healing and peace to people.
She loved spending time with friends and family, and when the weather permitted, embarking on “treasure hunts” visiting every garage sale within a ten-mile radius. Usually after a successful treasure hunt, the hunting party would retire to Dee’s on 2100 South for a victory meal where stories were told and plans for the next hunt laid.
Annette is survived by daughter Melissa (Wade), grandson Anthony, granddaughters Kyliegh and Megan, great-granddaughters Destiny and Alizae, great-grandsons Liam, Mac, Izzac, Taven, Lincoln, and great-great-granddaughter, Amara, as well as numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored, and countless friends who she considered family.
Annette is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sisters, daughter Andrea, and grandsons Kyle, and Sean.
A celebration for life for Annette will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026 with time and place to be determined and communicated at a later date.
