Bonnie Lee Fillmore Talbot

January 22, 1949 — November 4, 2023

Bonnie Lee Fillmore Talbot, 74, peacefully passed from this life, due to complications of pulmonary fibrosis, November 4, 2023 surrounded by her family, at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. Bonnie was born January 22, 1949 to Earl Bennett and Beverly Flint Fillmore in Salt Lake City, Utah.

A lifelong devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in many capacities in the church, most recently as an ordinance worker in the Draper Utah and Oquirrh Mountain Temples. She loved missionary work, serving as a full-time Senior Missionary with her beloved husband Terry in the Oregon Eugene Mission. When she was serving others, she was the most happy. These were some of her most cherished memories.

Bonnie graduated from Highland High School in Salt Lake City and attended Utah State University before transferring to the University of Utah, where she met her sweetheart, Terry Eugene Talbot. They were married on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1972 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Family was everything to Bonnie. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, cousin, aunt, and neighbor. She loved to help and serve others. She made lifelong friends everywhere she lived and served.

Bonnie and Terry started their family in Holladay, Utah, ultimately settling in Cottonwood Heights, where they raised their children. Bonnie was a devoted mother, who dedicated her life to her children and later her grandchildren. She spent countless hours at sporting events, recitals, and competitions supporting her family. She was the ultimate homemaker, holiday decorator, gift giver & wrapper, crafter, party planner, chef, and second mom to all of her children’s friends. Bonnie loved to travel with her family all over the world. Some of her favorite “Grand Adventures” were made while traveling with family. When Terry retired, they relocated to Herriman, Utah where they continued to spoil their grandchildren. Bonnie had countless tea-parties, sleepovers, camping trips, vacations, impromptu dance parties, shopping trips, swimming parties and baking lessons with her grandchildren. She was the ultimate Grammy. Upon Terry’s passing, Bonnie relocated to Draper, Utah where she could be closer to the Temple and enjoy the beautiful views overlooking the Salt Lake Valley.

Preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Terry; and her sister, Patricia Knapp. She is survived by her six children, Kurt, Jenn (Paul), James (Charmaine), Mike (Stephanie), Tammy, and Joseph; fifteen grandchildren, Nate, Hailee, Kaitlin, Ian, Jonathan, Skyler, Amanda, Emily, Saige, Alex, Sean, Josh, Jake, Flint, and James; also many others who affectionately referred to her as Grammy; her brother, Robert Flint Fillmore (Pamela); and her sister, Susan Beaudoin (James).
