AUDREY THOMPSON PEDLER
1922 – 2014

Audrey Thompson Pedler, our loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully in her home in Cottonwood Heights of natural causes on February 28, 2014.   At the time of her passing she was surrounded by many of those she loved and loved her.  She was 91 years old.

She was born on September 17, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah to William Arthur Thompson and Ellen Harriett (Nellie) Hooper Thompson.  She was married to Grant Edward Pedler on August 7, 1944 in the Logan Utah temple.

Audrey graduated from South High School in 1940.  She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held many callings, one of her favorites being in the ward Primary organization, serving for over 15 years.  She resided with her husband in the Cottonwood 3rd Ward for 10 years and the Butler 1st Ward for 58 years until the time of her passing.

For many years Audrey worked tirelessly giving care to her grandson, Mitch.  She loved to vacation with her family and her husband.  One of her favorite trips was with her husband to Branson, Missouri and Nauvoo, Illinois.

A special thanks to AFI Home Health and Hospice for their care of Mom, especially Lisa whom she developed a quick friendship with.

A graveside service will be held for close friends and family at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 12:00 p.m.
