Arthur Moreno

Arthur Moreno joined his Creator in the early morning of Sept 6, 2023 at Cottonwood Heights, Utah in the presence of his loving wife, Dr. Fidela Ll. Moreno.

Born in Malabon, Rizal, Philippines, Jing (as he is fondly called by family and friends) was the loving son of the late Rufino and Josefina Santos, the fifth out of seven children; now reunited with his siblings Ernesto Santos, Estrellita Mercado, Angelina Bronilla, Rolando Santos, his brothers-in-law Virgilio Mercado and Recaredo Bronilla II; survived by his sisters Julieta Santos (Arsenio) and Erlinda Purificacion, his sister-in-law Annie Santos and lots of nephews, nieces and their children; US Utah loved ones Melle Moreno, Miguel Mendoza, Trina Yogore and family and lots of mourning loved ones in the Philippines.  

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Adamson University in the Philippines and worked at Delta Airlines and the Nuclear Power Plant in Connecticut.

Jing was an avid golfer with a great sense of humor and cared deeply for his loved ones.  He will truly be missed but not forgotten.

Visitation will be held at St Thomas More Catholic Church (3015 Creek Road, Cottonwood Heights UT 84093 on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm followed by a Funeral Mass at 6:00 pm.  Refreshments will be served after the Mass at the church’s Meyer Hall foyer.  Cremation services to follow (private) and he will be laid to rest at the Moreno family’s plot in La Loma cemetery, Philippines at a later date.
