Sharon Alberta Rosenhan Plaskett, mother, wife, sister, friend, mentor, trauma therapist, was born September 7, 1948 in Murray, Utah to Alfred and Alberta Woolf Rosenhan, and returned to live with her loving Heavenly Father and brother Jesus Christ on May 16, 2018.

After a short but intense bout with cancer she passed peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family. Preceded in death by her parents, sister Eileen, and brother Harold, Sharon has left her brothers Lee, Dan, and Jim, and sisters, Julie and Lisa to complete their Earthly journey.

Sharon married Lee Plaskett February 22, 1972 in the Salt Lake Temple and thence increased her family to include 3 daughters and 4 sons. In order from eldest is Mary, Token, Daniel (Verlinda), Angela, Jonathan (Jamie), Joseph, and David, with 12 grandchildren, all of which are eagerly pursuing their Earthly experiences.

Sharon focused her life on healing and had a disposition such that all in her presence left brightened, uplifted, and feeling loved. She traveled the world, leaving a wake of healing and light, forever felt. As she traveled, her family was always in her heart and home her destination. Her love for the Gospel was central to every action, sharing our Heavenly Father’s love her aim. Her example of silent humility, love, and knowledge is forever remembered by those whose lives she touched.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018, 12 p.m. at the Glacial Park Ward, 2675 Mt Jordan Rd, Sandy. A viewing will be will be held Monday evening 6-8 p.m. at Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd, Cottonwood Heights and again one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
