Together Again

            Naomi Ott, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, passed away, January 24, 2012 at home peacefully with all her family by her side.

          Born November 6, 1918, Escalante, Utah to John Eli Davis and Martha Lay.  Married Frank Ott on November 2, 1937, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.  Frank and Naomi spent 21 winters in San Carlos, Mexico fishing, where they made many close friends from all over the US and Canada.  All who knew Naomi loved her, but none more than Frank who idolized her as she did him.  Frank passed away on October 20, 2000.

          Naomi was one of five sisters, two have survived her, Cleon Norton, 96 and Bertha Robison, 91.  Blaine N. Ott, Naomi’s 2nd son passed away on July 7, 2005.

          Survived by son, Lynn (Sue) Ott, Sandy, UT, daughter, Bonnie Huff, Phoenix, AZ, 13 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren and numerous step great grandchildren.

          Funeral services will be held Friday, January 27, 2012, 12:00 p.m. at the Brighton 3rd Ward, 2325 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S.)  Friends may call Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S.) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and the day of the service at the church from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m.  Interment Mountain View Memorial Estates.

          Family wishes to give sincere thanks to Hospice for Utah.
