Norma Marie Gay McMorris

1924 - 2012

          Norma Marie Gay McMorris passed away Monday, April 16, 2011 at the age of 87.  Norma was preceded in death by her husband Carl, brother Silvio, and sister Alta.  She is survived by her daughter Lesli (Mark), and sons Craig (Crystal), John (Leslie) and Rourke, as well as numerous grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Norma loved her family, Christmas, playing cribbage with Carl, her friends, and work at Mountain Bell. She was a devoted volunteer for the Pioneers, and the Utah State Library for the Blind and Disabled. She was a great croquet player although we think she cheated once in a while! She was a great friend and devoted mother; she will be sorely missed.

          Funeral Mass for Mom will be held Saturday, April 21st, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 E Creek Rd. with Father Paul officiating.  Burial will follow at Mtn. View Memorial Estates, 3115 E 7800 S. Family will receive friends at Cannon Mortuary on Friday, April 20th, from 6 to 7 p.m., with prayer service at 7 p.m. 2460 E. Bengal Blvd. (7600 S).  Special thanks to the staff at Pheasant View and Hospice for Utah for their loving care.
