Kristen Michelle Thomson
1981 - 2018
Our precious angel daughter, Kristen Michelle Thomson, returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on January 25, 2018. She was surrounded by love and support from her family and so many people who love her.
Kristen was born on January 19, 1981, on a beautiful snowy day. It soon became apparent she would face many difficult challenges in her sweet life. And face them she did, with grace and courage.
Kristen is survived by her parents, Jeff and Michelle Thomson, brother, Jaren Thomson, sister, Chelsea Thomson, nephews, Kelly and Kayden Craig, grandparents, Henry Middleton, Lurene Thomson, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who brought her great joy.
Kristen has an infectious smile and bubbly upbeat personality. To know her is to love her. She is strong willed, energetic and determined. Kristen valiantly faced a lot of pain. She refused to let that get her down. Her smile was ever present. While many of us are sent here to learn, Kristen was sent here to teach. And teach she did. Kristen touched more lives than most of us could ever hope to, and did this without saying a word. She eloquently communicated from her heart. Her love and tenderness will be greatly missed. Kristen is the most nonjudgmental person you could hope to meet. She loved everyone and everything about them. Kristen's giving did not end with her death. She is saving the lives of many through organ donation.
Words could never express our eternal love, admiration and great joy our sweet Kristen has brought to our family. We stand honored and amazed to be her parents. We appreciate the condolences and prayers from all her loved ones.
We are forever grateful for all Kristen's caregivers, teachers, doctors and nurses. Their never-ending dedication and compassion to our daughter will never be forgotten.
