My heartfelt sympathy to each of you .  No other pain will ever be greater than the pain of  losing a child. Our heavenly Father knows the difficulities you are facing. Through his Word he helps us to understand why death occurs and what he will in the near future do to rectify the grief that we undergo due to losing our loved ones to this aged-old-enemy (death).

Dear Patti, Robert and Nick,

I just learned of Kelly's passing and I'm so very sorry to hear this. My heart is saddened and my thoughts are with you. I loved watching Kelly and Nick play baseball back during our boys days at Bywater. Both were such naturals when it came to sports. Kelly always had a smile on his face. He was so humble when he received compliments on well he played. He was so well mannered and there was kindness in him always. What loving words have been shared in all these memories of Kelly. Everyone loved him.

I'm so sorry he had dealt with such pain and trials these last few years. I hope you will find peace and comfort and know you will see him again one day. I will keep you in my prayers.

In your lifetime you meet someone who holds a special place in your heart! Kelly was one of those people to me. Always worked hard, helped everyone with a smile on his face, never complained, was a sensitive kid, liked everyone & when you could have a conversation with him he had a great sense of humor & had a lot to say. I will miss him terribly & am just glad that he is finally no longer in pain. But, to his family, I am so very sorry for your incredible loss & for the horrific pain you must all be feeling! Just know he was loved by so many & will be missed by any & all who knew him! My God be with you all! Thoughts & prayers❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️

Our hearts go out to the Stavrides family. With kids roughly the same age and living nearby, we watched these two boys grow up, truly "hand in glove." Nick and Kelly were always together, always polite and willing to stop for a quick chat, and always heading to or from some athletic activity. Kelly's big smile and modesty about his abundant athletic skills were so refreshing in this day in age. What a truly incredible young man. Our prayers will be with you and may God bring comfort to your family during this difficult time.

Dear Robert,Patti and Nick,
We are brokenhearted about your dear son and brother
Kelly was a kind wonderful friendly handsome cheerful young man
He was truly one of the finest young athletes we ever had the pleasure
to watch and cheer for and we were glad he was Matt's good friend
We are sorry he suffered so very much for so very long
We pray that our dear Lord Jesus will comfort your family during this most
challenging time with His truth
Jesus said,
"I am the resurrection and the life; the one believing in Me, even if he should die, he will live. (John 11:25)
"Let not your hearts be troubled...Believe in God and believe in Me ...
I go to prepare a place for you...and to receive you into My presence."
(John 14:1-3)
May God truly comfort your hearts with these words
We love your dear family and we mourn deeply with you
but we believe he is in the presence of Jesus who died for us on the cross
and rose from the dead to give us the gladness of hope of eternal life
Sincerely-Mark and AnnaMaia Soltis and family

Robert, Patti and Nick,
We are very heartbroken about Kelly. We can't even imagine what you are all going through. We are praying for the Lord's comfort and strength for your family in this very difficult time of sorrow. Kelly was an amazing young man along with Nick. You raised two very nice young men. Kelly was an amazing athlete and so much fun to watch on the football field. He could run so fast and was so athletic. Your sons were such good friends to Matt and we enjoyed their company all the times they were over our house. You were so hospitable to Matt all the times you had him over to your house. We loved Kelly so much. We are so sorry for the very difficult time Kelly went through the last 5 years with severe pain and health challenges. What a strong and courageous young man he was. We care very much about your family and love you all dearly. Sending love and hugs ❤️❤️❤️

What a wonderful son you brought into this world. There aren't many finer, kinder or more humble than Kelly. He truly was the most astonishing athlete many of us ever witnessed from a very young age. His example of courage and his kind heart will truly resonate in Brody's memories and be treasured for always. Kelly visited in our home just a few days ago, he brought with him his big smile, his humor and his laughter. I will forever treasure that visit and the opportunity and blessing of having Kelly as our friend.
There was a double Rainbow stretched across our little neighborhood on Wednesday, I took a picture of it only to later realize that from now on a double Rainbow will always remind me of your amazing son.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you-

Patti and Robert,

Please accept our deepest sympathy on the unexpected loss of Kelly. It is a very tragic event and I want you to know that we share your grief.

Kelly was such a vibrant young man and I was always very happy for the positive influence he had Skylar. Kelly had mad skills when it came to sports and we have many fond videos in which they are highlighted. (We will always treasure those memories.)
Kelly was a wonderful friend and teammate.

Nick, you are a wonderful person and we can not remember many times we did not see you without Kelly. Our prayers are with you. We are here for you if you need to talk or just hang out.

The Bible says "Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted." We pray that God will bless you and your family and give all of you the strength to get through this very difficult time.

With very much love and sympathy,

The Neale Family

Stavrides Family,
You are all in our thoughts and prayers at this time. Kelly was an amazing person, inside and out. His smile and compassion for others was constant. As Derek put it, he was "the human joy stick" on the football field and basketball court. Derek loved playing with Kelly no matter the sport. Love you all!

Kelly Stavrides was an amazing young man. Everyone loved Kelly. He was humble, funny, and always had a big smile on his face. I have so many fond memories of Kelly. Our long journey with Kelly began when he was six years old and he was on our son's Junior Jazz basketball team. Our son, Andrew, and Kelly became the best of friends and played basketball and baseball together for the next seven years. Our best memories of Kelly were the years they played baseball together at Bywater Park. Kelly was the best friend our son could ever hope for. With Kelly on the mound as our star pitcher and Andrew his catcher, it seemed like we never lost a game. Kelly was an incredibly talented athlete in every sport. Kelly and his brother, Nick, spent many a day with Andrew at our home and he was always a joy to have around. Kelly loved my pancakes and I would cook them in the middle of the afternoon because I knew how much he liked them. We will miss you terribly, Kelly. We love you. Our condolences to all of the Stavrides family in these difficult circumstances. Sincerely, John Robertson
